giving you the best tools to succseed

Were here to bring a new high quality climbing centre to Brighton that is accessible to beginners, but also provides the training tools and route setting for people to continue progressing into advanced climbers.

We’ve invested in bringing a wide variety of new hold shapes and volumes to offer our route setters versatility in setting the most interesting climbs possible. We have decided to use the V grade scale in our gym. It has been a hard decision on how to do grading as it has a huge impact on how people interact with the climbs and space. We acknowledge that indoor grades have little baring on outdoor grades and there is poor standardisation across gyms. However having a grading system on a linear scale is useful for tracking progress.

We have decided to have a unique colour difficulty scale that we use with marked tape in the gym. For people who want more precise grading and the ability to track progress we will be setting up with Toplogger.

Progress oriented training

We love to support people in what they want to get out of our space. For some its just about climbing and they don’t want additional training. For a lot of people the joy of climbing comes from progressing and frustration can come from platues. We can’t promise to stop platues but what we can do is provide the best training equipment to support progression.

Here are some of the tools we provide:

  • Brighton’s first kilter board offering thousands of standardised climbs set at 45 degrees.

  • Variety of hang boards.

  • Beastmaker 1000 & 2000 with motherboards to support most efficient hang protocols.

  • “no hang” tools from edges to quadblocks

  • tendeq progressor 200 for tracking various pulling strength metrics.

  • Free weights

  • cable machines - excellent for all manor of training and injury rehabilitation.

  • Lateral Pull down machine - our favourite tool for building single arm pulling strength.
